Fort Myers Portrait Photography

Portraits on Florida beaches provide a contemporary sometimes documentary style for a family photograph. The beaches of Fort Myers, Sanibel and Captiva have natural settings that work well for portraits.

On Fort Myers Beach, the setting could be active and busy with the crowds blurring in the background for a high school senior portrait. The islands of Sanibel and Captiva may have old, gray driftwood along with sea oats growing five or six feet tall. Many families prefer this natural setting to the standard indoor portrait studio setting.

Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva have beaches that face the west so that a sunset might be used as a backdrop. Sure, sometimes a spectacular Sanibel or Captiva sunset won’t happen, that is when I might switch to Black & White to capture the rest of the photo shoot.

My price for a family portrait starts at $300.00 which will include a 4x5 print of each pose taken. When there are other related families, I charge an additional 35.00 per family. Reprints are available with many choices of finish including canvas and art board mounting.
